Actually these areas, which we view as having nothing to do with the US, are in a way vital to them.
Afghanistan, being one of the least exploited natural resources area, Iraq with its oil, and Lebanon with its close proximity to Isreal, its closest ally. Actually I should say USA is the first supporter and ally of Israel ( and not the other way around)
What strikes me, is how the american people can vote for such politicians, and be unaware of what is happening in the world.

Heya Paul! Its true what u said abt Afghanistan (lets not forget they're one of the biggest producer of opium), Iraq and Lebanon, that the US have a lot of interest in..now it makes me worry a lil bit..who's gonna be next? Iran?? do u think my country, Indonesia could be one of their targets as well? We're pretty much one of the biggest muslim population on earth and not to forget that we've got spices and timber in our 13.000 islands!
and concerning what u said, that USA is the first supporter of Israel and not the other way around...how come? Israel is a smaller country, how can they have power over the US?
I hope u dont mind me asking, since my knowleadge on US/Israel is very limited..

The jewish lobby is very strong among US politicians. They manage to impose their ideas and wishes. And unfortunately, the american people who can make the difference, are ignorant when it comes to international politics. Whatever they read or view on TV is a lie.
Over the last few years, muslims have been described as terrorists. Which is not true. At least for the majority of muslims. I dont know how this divergence with western civilization will decrease. A very dark future for our world.
